Medical Imaging is a technology-oriented research master’s programme that prepares students for a career in the strongly multidisciplinary and rapidly evolving field of medical imaging. In this programme, which is offered in close collaboration between UMC Utrecht/Utrecht University and Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), exact sciences, engineering and life sciences come together. It combines elements from physics, mathematics, computer science, biomedical engineering, biology, and clinical medicine to provide students with the opportunity to attain a high level of knowledge and skills in various areas of medical imaging, such as image acquisition physics, quantitative image analysis including artificial intelligence/deep learning, computer-aided diagnosis, and image-guided interventions.
